Seconds to minutes

There's nothing to show for my on-going patience
All I seem to cling onto is this futile existence

I'm slowly succumbing to the dreadful silence
Too long have I been dependent on hopeful emotions
Nothing to lose, and nothing to gain, thus everything is pointless

Hours turn into days

I helplessly idle by as life itself starts to decay away
It's just like throwing away the memories of yesterday

Those special moments I held onto, all of the happiness I gave
I thought it was all for something, because it can never be replaced
Though I only have myself to blame, as I continue to let everything be disgrac

I heard / those heartfelt words many times before

You remember I said I would always be there for you when you needed me
But instead, I just upped and left the both of us, so heartlessly
Knowing very well that you're the most important person, I'm so sorry
Maybe these words of my inner hurt will help you understand clearly

I always thought that my first kiss ever would be with a special someone
But it was taken away from me in a split second, the loss cannot be undone
And I planned to keep my virginity for a little while longer, I wasn't ready yet

The thoughts are like frost-bitten pins
Everything goes numb when the cycle begins

I'm every sin

No hands were lent, no hands to take

No tears were shed, no tears to make

The images are like venomized needles
After the feelings are injected, I'm left fearful

I'm chaotically peaceful

This self-suffering is man-made, so I hope for my own sake

But some things never change
Love like ribbons bleeding
Simple words upon a page

It almost feels like you are bleeding internally, doesn't it?
Even when you have never really experienced the real thing?

It just feels like a cold, demonic machete has cut through,
And yet you can't see it

You are just dying,
And you are going to fall

Bags packed hastily on an un made bed.

Inactive blue tack firmly attached to the walls.

Earthly possessions compiled regrettably.

Unfortunate circumstances have been confirmed.

Your chariot has arrived to take you away.

The hardest part is yet to come.

I know our connection will weaken.

No matter how hard we try to cling on.

Change is something we cannot avoid.

Memories are all we have to hold on to.

Realities rewind button has been disabled.

This game can never be won.

Humour temporarily dilutes the situation.

Silence is the only language spoken.

Eyes exchange compromising glances.

Half hearted commitments announced.

In the beginning I was emotionally blind
So I always pushed the guilt to the back of my mind
Even though I saw all of my lies with these heartless eyes

I'm the one at fault
For all of the wrong I've done
And I can't live with what my decisions have brought

I'm my own prisoner of these memories
Unforgettable stains of my grief
I'm also the warden, and I can't leave

Shackled by my mistakes
Wrapped in a chain of lies
I deserve the past I made
For the future won't be mine

Bound by the pain I gave
Locked in a cage of my conscience
I'm serving my time until the end of days
For this is my own form of self-vengean

The proud flags were torn away
When warfare came

Burning buildings collapsed
Just like the nations which used to stand

We're no longer united
Because we're consumed by fighting

Quarreling over desires / selfishness is earned
Money sets lives on fire / morals are governed

Humanity conquered this gift of nature
Because we were given this curse of failure
Just our simple touch turns beauty into torture
And we won't stop, until we get more and more

The prayers of our mothers
The tears of our sisters
The blood of our brothers

A man-made cycle of life and death
Believing in religion; and ab

I don't want to give into the maddening thoughts
I don't want to become what I am not

My clenched hands start to bleed
Because I despise falling asleep

Knuckles harden as I delve into unconsciousness
My bad blood boils away the sense of innocence

Inner wars are fought / faces yearn to be tarnished
All of my battles are lost / I put every bad memory into my fists

I don't want to know my true self / different sides of the same coin
My reflection is altered by the pain I felt / we both will reach the breaking point

The forgotten fury yells to be freed
The hidden hatred screams to be unleashed

I thought a day like today would never come
When a sincere smile finally broke through
And I've grasped onto this sense of freedom
When I forged this connection with you

I was so deep into it
Thinking I never would get out
Being stuck in the past has made me into this
But now I hold my head up instead of facing down

Because of this, I've realize there's a difference between my tears
I used to only shed the ones for all of the mistakes I've made
Which I've cried for all of those long, and lonesome years
Until today, so I'm overwhelmed by the relief you gave

Society told me the world is black and white
I didn't want to believe it
Because I want something more than a narrow minded life
I need something different

Feeling as if I was truly alone in this world
It's hard to keep believing
Feeling as if I no longer could move forward
It's difficult to keep breathing

I'm stuck between the realms of discrimination and belief
I had to lock away my tears in a prison
For I am the only one who can keep my resolve safe
But I'm such a fragile person

I knew I couldn't take any of it / I knew everyone is so swift with judgment
I knew I would fall to the hatred / I knew

I Know I Can't WinOpen eyelids see,
sad morning light.
Haunted by hands,
by words,
tortured by night.
Bruises are covered,
by make-up and clothes.
Tears dry,
smiles lie,
so nobody will know.
Blood lost by blood-lust,
desire and despise.
Feeding,
delicious fear,
from innocent eyes.
Today becomes tomorrow,
and the next and the next.
Tormented hands,
and lips pray,
for a day of sweet rest.
No daylight nor nightfall,
forbids more disdain.
But lessons learned,
lessen,
the measure of pain.
Don't fight back... Don't complain.

Something inside me broke
The core of my soul snapped
That is when I felt this numbing cold
I blinked, and everything started to fade to black

When you left me alone
I felt this eternal betrayal
When you finally let me go
The pain inside me became unstable

The weight on my shoulders collapsed
While the world I knew faded
As the remorse relapsed
I'm consumed by hatred

The few "family" members that showed up, laugh and cheer, as they lower your cheap coffin
The few "friends" that were closest to you, smile and clap, as they start the celebration
[No one will ever miss you, everyone in the crowd just said "finally." and "good riddance."]

Ever since you were born, we're sorry that we always had to live with you that way
We need to apologize for all of the times when we didn't know what to do, or say
[Just look at all the happy faces, we should have made your funeral an official holiday]

We're sorry that we didn't know how to help you, it's just that you were such an annoyance

I've always known that I'd never know what it's really like to be loved by someone
After realizing what I am, and that no one really cares, because of what I have really done
I know now that my pointless, one-sided war could have never been won

From now on, I will try to cover up my arms, and put away my self-inflicting weapons
To conceal my old scars, and blood stained blades, everything about me will be hidden
To keep my words to myself, because I know that cries for help is my infinite ammunition

Heartsbane

Being around you like I am
It's a sensation I can hardly stand
Passed the point of torture, which I can barely pretend
So I have you show you I'm okay, and that I'm doing the best I can

This weight of my heart's world
Harboring all of these scars, new and old
And it contains countless secrets that I try and hold
Which I continue to endure alone, because I sold my soul
-
This pain is my peace
That's why I need you, please

Your hope divides the fear
So I will always depend on you being here

But I'm so afraid
To let myself love someone again

Because my hands are still stained
From all of those heavy tears that rained
-
I want to forbid myself from becoming lost in your eyes
While I'm desperately trying to not release everything that's bottled up inside
Every second, I'm an inch away from revealing all of these feelings that I try to hide
I'd give you it all, and deny you nothing, for I know your happiness will also become mine

I don't want another day to be loveless
